As you will see below, we had a very busy summer with lots of achievements and progress being made in all of our programs.

Spring Freestyle and Greco-Roman Wrestling Season
Our Freestyle and Greco Roman Season went great!
We had an awesome group of athletes participating in our Olympic Style Wrestling Program this spring. It was a lot of fun and these wrestlers made great progress learning these exciting styles of wrestling.
Great job to everyone that participated! There's no doubt that your hard work and dedication to improving will pay off.
Work hard, play hard :)
We capped off our Freestyle and Greco Roman Season with a fun filled practice of games and competition. Everyone left with a bunch of gear and prizes. It was a full hour and a half of Bubbleball, mat hockey, stilt races, dummy ring toss and more.
2019 Summer Camp
Wrestling With Character was happy to provide a 100% free summer training camp to dozens of wrestlers this July.
This camp was open to and attended by wrestlers from clubs all over the Omaha area. It was a great experience and was a lot of fun getting to meet new friends and training partners.
The camp consisted of 8 practices over two weeks and included special guest coaches from all over town. Thank you to all of the families and wrestlers for participating and making this camp a suceess!

Thank you to Coach Ryan Smales for all of your help and leadership these past few months. Coach Smales returned to assist our program this summer while he was completing a summer internship at Boys Town.
Coach Smales put in countless volunteer hours helping our wrestlers at practice and tournaments. He was always the first coach at practice - cleaning mats and getting everything ready to go. Additionally, Coach Smales could often be seen working one on one with athletes after practice on specific techniques.
As great of a coach that Ryan is, he is even a better person. Our kids and families are extremely fortunate to have such a positive example of a wrestler with outstanding personal character to look up to, learn from and strive to emulate.
Coach Smales is a graduate of Bellevue West High School and is entering his senior season as a member of the Nebraska Wesleyan University Wrestling team. Thank you for everything Coach and best wishes for a successful season down in Lincoln. We will be watching and cheering for you!
