Wildcat wrestling club
Wildcat Wrestling Club is a competitive youth wrestling program in Omaha, NE.
Our club is for experienced wrestlers looking to test their skills and character through goal setting, training and wrestling competitions. Wildcat Wrestling Club provides wrestling training, character education, team gatherings, friendships, fitness, and fun!
Wildcat Wrestling Club coaches, athletes, and parents operate and adhere to the philosophies, curriculum and vision of Wrestling With Character.
Wildcat Wrestling Club operates year-round, providing organized training, education, and coaching for young athletes. Our priorities are equally focused on character development, fitness, wrestling achievement and health education. The timeless martial art of wrestling is our vehicle to facilitate these important life lessons.
Beginning wrestlers are required to complete the Passion First Wrestling Academy program prior to joining Wildcat Wrestling Club. Additionally, wrestlers with limited previous success in competition are highly encouraged to enroll into PFWA. Wrestling With Character’s Director of Coaching will make any final decisions regarding program enrollment.
"Embrace the Journey"
Wildcat Wrestling Club offers athletes several opportunities for competition throughout the year.
We believe that competition should be a fun and exciting experience for kids. However, if not introduced and implemented appropriately, the effects can often be paralyzing to the growth and development for young athletes.
Our focus throughout competitive experiences (both good and bad) will be on the continued development of our athlete’s positive, personal character in relation to achieving their wrestling goals. Wins, losses, or trophies received are not emphasized.
